Poorly ran. Inconsistent and unreliable. Today marks the 5th time in a row that they have called and needed to reschedule my wife and daughters appointments. For people who are just starting counseling and scared to start, this is absolutely unacceptable. Imagine having severe anxiety and fear about your upcoming first appointment, just to get a call the day before to reschedule to go through it all over again!!! 2 times they just didn’t call AT ALL! Watching my wife squirm with anxiety awaiting the few minutes before her appointment and then nothing. No call, no email. TWICE! That was blamed on a “new counselor who didn’t know the ropes.” So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and then when they called today I have just completely lost all faith in that place. If you have options other than Options, I would highly recommend starting elsewhere. Cant imagine how much worse a mental health establishment could be.
Great staff! Reception is friendly and efficient. Lisa is awesome! I always come away with positive actions I can easily apply. Parking can be tricky, being on time to appointments helps with that a lot
I've been going to Options for medication management and counseling for 6 years. I've had nothing but a positive and useful experience there. My psych provider is beyond amazing and I will be going to him until ether he retires or I move out of the area. My therapist is competent, professional and has never treated me like an idiot. The DBT group therapy has been helpful and informative. The psychiatrist who runs it takes it seriously and is good at getting everyone to participate and learn something. The receptionists, even when a new person comes in, are professional and to the point. Frankly,I've had nothing but a positive and welcoming experience there and will continue to go there until my providers are no longer there.
Just Got off the phone with them trying to set up an appointment for myself and my family for Therapy. I was greeted by a person that had no knowledge of services they had to offer and would even get past the part that they have no openings. I replied I would like to set up an appointment and that I was not looking to just walk in... then I was cut off and told they don't know when they will have any openings and that would need to call in daily to see if there were any openings. The gist of what I was being told was " On a day to day basis we find out if we have an opening and if we do then we schedule an appointment 2 weeks from that date " Ok got it... but do you know my situation or my needs as far as counseling would go? She didn't seem to give one single @@@@ and when I realized i was basically talking to a sheet of paper I asked if there were any other places locally I might be able to call to set up an appointment... she didn't sound like she had the time. Ya... this place is nothing like the website portrayed. Seems like a place you go to when your state ordered if you catch my drift. Counseling Staff more than likely having a less than caring attitude similar to their phone staff. Great Times
