Everyone here is so pleasant and the strawberry cheesecake is the absolute best. It is very rich and flavorful I will definitely be coming back here again to try some other stuff! They have a wide variety of desserts and cakes I also loved the strawberry short cake. Definitely recommend trying some desserts from here! The pleasant employees make the visit even more worthwhile!
My family & I have been buying dessert from Martha's Bakery for the past almost four years and this place is like no other bakery in NYC. The staff is very welcoming and is always willing to help out it's customers while they look around for some delicious dessert. Although the interior to dine in is a bit small the staff can always extend to help families dine in. The tres leches is beyond delicious and the strawberry banana cake just takes it to the next level. We tried almost all of the cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. Martha's also make custom cakes as well. Lines are always wrapped around the block on Friday nights and the weekends as well but it is worth the wait. They have a few locations in Queens & Brooklyn. 1,000% recommend this place.
I love Martha’s!!! But kind of bummed that you guys in this day in age don’t take Apple or Google pay. After waiting 20 min on line by the time it was time for me to order and pay - I got the surprise you don’t take electronic form of payment. Ashame my mom who’s I’ll really wanted your yummy bread pudding. Oh well make sure to bring cash or card!
Have been buying from this location for years even though I live in Long Island, since they have the best tasting cakes I have had in New York. EXCEPT this time, the chocolate cake I bought was bland and overly dense. Did not expect this inferior quality from Matha's. Will give the store another try. Do not like the idea of looking for another Bakery that I will like.
